First Doubles Tournament

Well the first doubles tournament has ended on BWI with me not on top. Another construction engineer on the project teamed up with me to take on the competition. It was a double-elimination tournament with the best to 3 games in a set. Well we made it through the other teams, winning every set. The team we beat first finally made its way back around to us in the final. They beat up on us 3-0 and then it came down to the final set for the tournament. We jumped out to an early lead with winning the first 2 games. We needed just one more to win the tournament. Well we didn't, we lost 3 straight games to give up the tournament AND the 2 ipods they gave out as prizes for the tournament champions. We didn't make it count when it was needed the most. So on the New Years Day with the sun setting and breeze blowing from the coast... BWI didn't award us a first place, but it did give us a good game of tennis. Not much to look foward to on this island so on days like this, you count your blessings and are just glad to be able to enjoy the game.
